Disney sold the franchise to Henry and Susan Samueli in 2005, who, along with then-general manager Brian Burke, changed the name of the team to the Anaheim Ducks before the 2006–07 season.

The company began by stringing tennis rackets, making custom golf clubs, and producing uniforms for local teams like the Eagles & Phillies. By 1933, the company was the official on-field outfitters for the Philadelphia Eagles, Athletics and Phillies – the rest is history.
